WHAT IS THIS SUMMER RETREAT ALL ABOUT? The Summer Retreat is an opportunity to experience a 5 day retreat, take a class, and stay on the beautiful campus of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Experience the Seminary's rich spiritual life - including Mass, conference talks, prayer and praise, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession, and silent prayer. In addition, one can make use of the tennis courts, basketball courts, exercise rooms, and other recreational facilities. The room accommodations are air-conditioned, single occupancy, with private bath. Your retreat is perfectly complemented by a stress free academic course - the course has no tests or quizzes - just sit and learn! The retreat runs July 12 through July 16. Saint Charles Seminary is only 30 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport! Retreatants arrive arrive Monday afternoon and depart after lunch on Friday. On
the Monday evening of your arrival, there is dinner. Then, there is a class session each morning, Tue-Fri. Opportunities
for communal prayer will be offered through the week, such as daily
Mass, Adoration, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. One can also take
the time to walk the beautiful campus, exercise, play tennis or basketball, watch movies in the lounge, or simply relax with
new friends.The student

Frequently Asked Questions 1. What course is being offered? The Person of Jesus 2. Do I have to go to class? Attendance is not taken. This is your retreat! The course is there for your benefit but is not required! 3. Are the seminarians there during the summer? The seminarians of St. Charles have the summer off and are home with their families. 4. Can I leave campus to go out to dinner or visit a friend? We encourage you to stay on campus during your retreat to benefit spiritually from your time here, but you are free to come and go as you please, so long as you respect our security curfews. 5. Is it true that it only costs $450 for one week stay - which includes a room, food, class tuition, and retreat activities? YES! 6. Is there an age limit for participants?
